Lexie Kattelman, CMHC

Giving ourselves permission to feel is the first step towards being kind to our minds. Therapy is for everyone. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, sad, or confused, you are not alone. My goal is to create a space that is welcoming and non-judgmental, where you feel heard, validated, and safe. Together, we can celebrate your authenticity and find empowerment for a life full of meaning.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Utah Valley University. I have training in experiential therapy, trauma-informed yoga, gender-affirming care, and Internal Family Systems. I am passionate about mind-body connection, art therapy, play therapy, intuitive eating, body-neutrality, and more.

I have received my Utah Transgender Treatment Certification, Eating Disorder Informed Professional (EDIP) Certification, and am completing the IADEP CEDS certification. I love working with children, teens, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, faith transitions, eating disorders, body image disturbances, and gender dysphoria. I believe therapy should be customized to each individual and I often draw from ACT, DBT, IFS, CBT, schema-focused therapy, memory reconsolidation, and experiential methods— with the therapeutic relationship always at the heart of healing.
